Rev.
Ron Garrison
Rev. Ron Garrison was born in Nova Scotia. He came to know Jesus
as his personal Saviour after a friend at work witnessed to him
and brought him to a church in Toronto.
Rev. Garrison
is an ordained minister with the Pentecostal Assemblies of Canada.
For nineteen years he pastored churches in Western Ontario. The
last church Ron pastored in London formed a tri-lingual congregation
made up of English, Spanish and Slavic speaking peoples with
services in all three language groups. While pastoring this church,
Ron was approached by a Ukrainian pastor to help some Slavic
families from the USSR emigrate. After seeing several of these
families settle in his church, one brother urged Ron to travel
back to the Soviet Union with him in August, 1991. While on that
trip, God began to move on Ron's heart to work more with Slavic
people. Soon after, Ron decided to leave pastoring to work full
time ministering to the people of the former Soviet Union, or
the "Commonwealth of Independent States" or CIS.
