Humanitarian Aid Policy

Many things have changed over the years. As MPI has continued to minister to the peoples of the former Soviet Union, we have continually adapted to the changing circumstances playing out in our mission field. We always endeavor to be the best stewards that we can in order to see as many lives touched as possible.

Because of some fundamental changes that have occurred relating to the warehousing, shipping, and distributing of large containers of humanitarian aid, we can no longer continue this aspect of MPI’s ministry. This change was finalized on March 31, 2010.

Despite not sending large bulk containers anymore, we still welcome specific, targeted, and timely donations of items. Shipping through a parcel company that ships directly into Ukraine, we can still send individual boxes of goods to those who need them. This has worked very well and we have recently been able to send both ‘ties and scarves’ to give out as gifts during the June 2011 Pastors Conference in Kiev, Ukraine.

Please contact us for more information regarding the needs, opportunities, and costs involved with this area of ministry.
